Eye-catching but restrained is how we’d describe this cover for Charles X. Wollf’s High-School Scandal. The art looks a lot like Ernest Chiriaka‘s to us. Don’t quote us on that, though. The story here deals with a thirty-something widow forced to go to work to support herself. She takes a teaching position at the local high school and all those gangly seventeen-year-old boys do a number on her libido. Pretty soon she’s plucked the top campus jock for some athletic extracurriculars, but competition soon rears its youthful head. Put this one in the rather large high school sleaze file along with two favorites of ours—Prize Pupil and Students of Lust. Copyright 1963.
