Censored Subtitles: An Expurgated View of Foreign Films from titillation author Howard Kandel, published circa 1960, with Brigitte Bardot on the cover. At the time it was still common practice in American theaters to censor foreign movie dialogue in order to reduce its sexual overtones, so what Kandel does here is print provocative stills from these films, and include the original dialogue as subtitles. Pretty cool idea, and all for one dollar.
No more need to read between the lines.
